A message from the Mayor
Thursday, 12 May 2011
As part of a new planning and reporting framework, Council will
be preparing a plan for the future with the community.
Through this plan, the Council seeks to identify the
characteristics of the Shire and desires of the community to
develop a strong future.
This plan will be based on community input and feedback gathered
during conversations and consultations designed to capture and
establish shared objectives for the Shire's future.
Everyone is invited to be part of this process and you can find
out when, where and how, by calling Council, from notices in local
media or through this web site.
You'll be able to participate actively in many ways including
speaking with the Mayor, Councillors and Council staff at
community engagement meetings and information sessions begining in
September 2010. You can also put forward your views online on
this website or in writing. At the same time, government and
non-government agencies will be contributing their ideas.
It's important for everyone in the community to take the
opportunity to be part of this. No-one is as proud of the
Eurobodalla Shire as the people who live here.
As you can see work on eurobodalla 2030 has started and should
be finished by the end of 2011.
Be proud, be part of it!

Clr. Fergus Thomson
Mayor, Eurobodalla Shire Council
